Advanced Handgun Class
If you want to take your shooting skill level to the next level, then our Advance Handgun Class is what you are looking for.
In this class, you will learn real world skills based on drills and scenarios developed by some of the best shooting aficionados in the industry.
This is a 7-8 hour class, and the range is our classroom, so be prepared for a full day of shooting!
Skills we will learn:
Safety
Reload practice
Double tap vs. Sighted pairs
Shooting from cover and concealment
Multiple target acquisition
Single and multiple shot drills
Strong hand and week hand shooting
Shoot and move
Speed vs. accuracy drills
Other drills as time permits
Additionally, we will setup some small shoot and move action pistol type stages that will bring together all of the skills we learned and practiced throughout the day. We will also have information on shooting equipment that is used during practice to help you gain a higher level of training. We will be shooting and moving, so there is some exercise, but we can accommodate any age and ability. We are here to help!
Upon completion of this class, we have no doubt that you will have skills and training that far surpasses the majority shooters out there!
Equipment needed:
Center fire handgun (no single action revolvers)
2-3 magazines or speed loaders (bring more if you have them)
Minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition (bring more if you have it)
Strong side belt holster that fits your gun (contact me if you have questions)
Magazine or speed loader belt carriers
Sturdy belt
Lunch, snacks and water (we do not leave the range for lunch)
Comfortable clothes and shoes for the time of year (no open toed shoes)
Your best attitude for learning. We will have tons of fun!
Prerequisites:
You need to be able to SAFELY draw from a belt holster. If you have taken my California CCW class, you have learned this skill. if you have never been taught this skill, contact me.
Cost for this class is $150.00 which includes range fees and targets, and must be paid up front to secure a
spot in class.
Please call or email me prior to paying. I have a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 10 students for this class, so I will put you on a list and when we have at least the minimum amount, I will schedule a class.
